New Show Announcement:
Sam Llanas, Formerly of the BoDeans - Friday, 12/26

For the last several years, we have had a show between Christmas and New Years. We really like to keep it a few days away from Christmas and a few days away from New Year's Eve. It is hard to find an artist that close to Christmas, and when we get close to New Year's Eve, we are pushing our staff to their limit. Because of the way this year falls, Friday is the day after Christmas... I had almost given up on doing a holiday show.

Sam and I had recently made contact, and I was very glad to hear he was interested in performing the day after Christmas. While most of our artists travel from much farther than his home, Milwaukee, Sam doesn't have that far to go. It is almost impossible to find someone his stature to play during the holidays.

We are the exact opposite of most venues. In the city, many people are gone,"home for the holidays". For us, it the exact reason we like to have a show, because every one is "home for the holidays." Plus, these shows can make great gifts for the music lover in your life.

with special opening set by David Mills and Long Ladder Home
Friday, December 26th  |  7:30 pm
$25 General Admission  |  Purchase Tickets

Sam is the voice and force behind one of the Midwest's all time famous bands, enough said. He has been here twice before. Besides many of the BoDeans classics, you will get a sampling of his new material. I have a hard time deciding if I favor the old or the new stuff. It is all great.

I can't promise you for this show, but last time he was here he played almost 3 hours. Sam has a new CD being released and a told me he has bunch of new material he wants to try out on us. Sam is bringing pretty much the same band as he had here last time.
