Best Craft Breweries:
An A to Z Guide

A quick flip through our drink menu reveals that we only carry craft beers on tap rather than your run-of-the-mill, mass produced beers (which you can always get from us in bottles). While that might make us sound like "beer snobs," with the growing popularity of craft breweries emerging in the U.S., I highly doubt we're the first of those kinds that you've ever encountered.

In either case, I came across an article that names some of the greatest craft beers across the nation... not from 1-10, but from A-Z. It's a long list featuring 2 breweries per letter and a description of that particular brewery's signature craft selection. If you scan the list - and if you're a beer aficionado that follows our selection carefully - you'll notice that we currently have (or have previously featured) some of the breweries on the list.

One of the big standouts is Founders. Currently, we serve Founder's Porter on draft. In the past, we have also served Founder's Breakfast Stout in bottles for those avid drinkers looking for something outside the box. The runner up to the letter "F" was Firestone Walker... you'll find their bottled IPA here.

The letter "G" leads off with the Green Flash Brewery... we just removed their Pale Ale from our draft tower. This San Diego scene-leader beat out two big-timers (Goose Island & Great Lakes).  Again, three different breweries we have seen behind our bar.

We respect and appreciate that everyone has a different beer preference. Some of you would prefer a lighter bottled beer for your meal, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. But after a quick read through this list, maybe it will inspire you to step out of your comfort zone and try something a little different.

Who knows... you may become a "beer-snob" yourself and help us to pick out the next line up of draft beers featured in house!
