Drink Menu Updates

Love is in the air! And to celebrate, the Uptown is kicking off the Valentine's season with new additions to our drink menu. The large chain stores have been advertising Valentine's since probably before Christmas, so why shouldn't we be ready, too? In turn, our mix masters behind the bar have craftily brewed some concoctions that'll be ready to get your juices loose.

First on the list is the Cherub's Cup - a blend of Absolut Citron, St. Germain liqueur, and lemon juice, muddled with strawberries and topped with lemon-lime soda for a sweet and tangy twist on the summertime classics like mojitos. St. Germain liqueur is a sweet and syrupy liqueur that is made with the essence of elderflower.

Next up on the menu is a Chocolate Covered Cherry Martini. Everyone knows that Valentine's Day is synonymous with chocolate-covered whatevers. We're even been known to offer our own chocolate covered strawberries. So we're kicking it up a notch and creating a drink that's as good as the real thing, and leaving you with with a little extra at the end (but only if you have too much). It's started by mixing Stoli vodka, creme de cocoa, creme de almond, cream, and a splash of cherry grenadine for a flavor that could easily fool you for the real thing if you were blind folded. 

Our Dreamy Winter Delight was a huge hit during the Christmas season, but now we've got another hot chocolate drink that will get a few other things "hot." Our Chocolate Love Affair combines Absolut Vanilla, amaretto, creme de almond, and hot chocolate topped with whipped cream for a perfect warm drink to get things hot and heavy... just hopefully not at your table.

The Be Mine Martini is a fruit concoction for those of you shying away from the hot and creamy. We mix Grey Goose cherry noir with chambord raspberry liqueur and a mix of cranberry for a fruity, yet light drink that shies away from the chocolate and cream bases we typically associate with Valentine's.

Finally, one of our most popular holiday drinks. You've had our Seasonal Punch before, and boy do they sell faster than a box of chocolates to a poor sap who forgot February 14th. This season's flavor offers a mix of rum, vodka, and gin with pomegranate liqueur topped with with lemon-lime soda and sweet & sour for a real drink that will have the passion flowing wherever you are.

Valentine's is coming up quick, and whether you're celebrating with a significant other or a pack of single pals, we have the answer for you... alcohol!
