Here is your last call for a chance to taste Stone's Enjoy By 4.20.15 IPA. We are down to the last of it and don't expect it to survive the weekend.

So stop in and enjoy a glass of this once-a-year beer that we've been able to get our hands on. Remember, there are only 6 kegs outside of Chicago in the whole State of Illinois!

Whether you love them or hate them, a lot of the West Coast breweries are all about the hops. Stone Brewing Company is no exception. (I've turned into quite the hophead over the last few years myself and can say that their the 4/20 is definitely worth a taste.)

Once this fresh IPA is gone, we have another great IPA waiting to be tapped in our beer room. Stone always puts out great beers, and this week you will be able to grab a pint of Stone Delicious IPA.

Perfect for the spring/summer season ahead of us, this light IPA is made with lemondrop and El Dorado hops to bring robust hints of lemon and hop spice. This refreshing beer still packs that punch with a 7.7% ABV and is gluten free. 

Here is a review from Beer Advocate... it gives a good idea on what you should expect:

"Stone just gets everything they do right. They set out to make an approachable, bright IPA for newbies. Other than being a bit strong, this is a fine beer for that mission.

Pours a hazed and fine-bubbled, golden honey with active visible carbonation rising quickly, pilsner like. Light thin head and lace is dotty. 

Moderate lemony and pilsner like. Hay, grass, and lemon hops.

The taste and feel stand out. Upfront some sweet grainy malts followed by very bright, lemony flavors of citrus hops - lemon zest, grapefruit, and flowers. Herbal hops abundant in the finish. Right bitter balance. Very flavorful! 

Love the tingly, bitter and more pilsner like feel. First Rate and tingly, nice lean finish. 

Brassy, bright, yummy hop forward IPA, hides the alcohol so watch out. Easy to follow with another."
