You had your first Father's Day teaser in last week's newsletter, so you can consider this your second warning.
The summer heat often means lighter menu items and healthy dishes, but let's be realistic. Dad doesn't want to be taken out for salad and a sparkling water... he wants meat in some way, shape or form!
And for those dads who can't decide what to chow down on, we've got the perfect solution. Making its annual appearance for Father's Day weekend is our applewood bacon barbecue trio. That's right... 3 meats!
The first of the manly trifecta is a house smoked barbecue rib topped with an applewood smoked bacon and brown sugar barbecue sauce. It's a sweet and savory alternative to the spicy ancho chili variety we had last year.
Speaking of spice, the next meat will be an 8 ounce chipotle marinated chicken breast. The smoky heat of this one is sure to get the tastebuds moving!
Finally, the last piece of meat to grace the plate is a top sirloin filet. Grilled to perfection, it is topped with caramelized red onions and served with our housemade BBQ sauce.
We also can't forget to add a big piece of grilled corn on the cob... because everyone knows it's important to also eat your vegetables! In either case, this hugely popular Father's Day dish is sure to please even the manliest of men.
And don't forget - even if you're unable to take him out personally - you can always stop in (or go online) and get him a gift card to spend here with us. We'd be happy to do all the work while you take all the glory (don't worry, we're used to it)!
