Oscar Sunday, Every Sunday of the Year

This coming Sunday, March 2nd is the 86th Annual Academy Awards... or Oscars. Over the course of the last few decades, this has become one of the highest rated television broadcasts in the world. It is broadcast in over 100 countries around the world and has become a week-long extravaganza reporting on who is nominated for each of these awards. Its press compares with that of the Superbowl and Mardi Gras.

We would also like to broadcast that this week marks the 1 year anniversary of the start of our weekly special, Oscar Sunday. It was this time last year, where we were looking for a change in our weekly special lineup. We felt the Fajita Sunday special that we had previously, had run its course. We always felt we put together a great oscar dish, so we thought why not make every Sunday "Oscar Sunday." To make it more interesting, we thought we could provide a whole oscar menu to choose from and offer each for $12.75.

Just like the Oscar's themselves, our weekly special has become one of the more popular specials that we we offer. Our lineup includes your choice of veal, chicken, grouper, strip or a portobello mushroom. We then top with real lump crab meat, fresh asparagus, seasoned rice blend and housemade bearnaise sauce. Everything is made fresh in house each week. You will never get the imitation crab or the sauce out of a packet. Our weekly specials provide a great meal at a great value, and these dishes are no different.

With all the hype, discussion and glamour in attendance, you should know that this day is the worst day of the year for restaurants due to the fact that everyone is at home glued to their televisions watching. Don't despair...if you really want to stay home and watch the Oscars in the comforts of your own chair, keep in mind that you will be able to enjoy one of the area's best Oscar dishes any Sunday of the year.
