Robbie Fulks
Friday, March 21st | 7:30 pm | $20 general admission
We have little more than a week left until the Robbie Fulks show. Just a warning, the show is rapidly approaching a sell out. In fact, all the shows we presently have booked have been selling well. I recommend not waiting if you are wanting to attend anything we have coming up the rest of the season.
Robbie hails from the north shore of Chicago and has been a long-time staple of the Chicago music scene. View his recent WTTW Chicago interview here.

Robbie is one of my favorite people in all of music. It will be his 3rd time here. We are so lucky to have him. I will let these quotes speak for themselves.
"Chicago's most fertile musical mind...so good, he's scary" - Chicago Tribune
"If country music has an Elvis Costello, it's Robbie Fulks, who marries Ivy League cleverness to an appreciation of hillbilly music that actual hillbillies could only envy" - Entertainment Weekly
"Fulks sounds like the wiseass bastard son of Roger Miller -- high praise indeed" - Rolling Stone
"Fulks is a gifted guitarist, a soulful singer with an expressive honky-tonk tenor, and a natural performer. But what really sets him apart is his songwriting, which is one part artful country, one part artful sendup of country and one part a little of everything else... It's sort of country meets David Lynch." - New York Times
Two New Shows to Announce
These last 2 shows will round out our 2013-14 theater season. A sincere thanks for allowing us to bring these acts to our community. We could not do it with you. We usually take the summers off unless something really special comes our way.
Bill Kirchen
The "Titan of Telecaster" will be making his 3rd appearance here. Well remembered for the lead in "Commander Cody" and the song "Hot Rod Lincoln", it is a rocking show. All previous shows sold out very quickly. He will be appearing as the same trio as he has in past shows. Tickets on sale now.
Eef Barzelay of Clem Snide
Eef might be one of the most talented singer songwriters of a generation. Tom and I have been devotees of Clem Snide and Eef for quite some time. It is a great honor for both of us to have him on our stage. I can't think of a better way to end the season. He will be appearing as a duo. Tickets on sale soon.
