Barrel-Aged Cocktails

The time has come to enjoy our very own barrel-aged cocktails. About 6 weeks ago, we bought a 5-liter American white oak barrel and filled it with Maker's Mark Kentucky bourbon. Every few weeks, we sampled it in order to get the proper flavors of vanilla and clove that we wanted.

Over the course of the last 40-something days, we have been patiently waiting as the barrel "breathes."  This process allows the alcohol to pass back and forth through the charring, causing impurities to be filtered out into the wood leaving you with a smoother end result. Caramelized flavors of the charred oak are now perfected.

According to many experts, barrel aging is one top 15 trends for 2015. (View this link for other things you may see us work with this year, too.)

Andrew, Kim and Josh have created some amazing cocktails for you to try. Introducing our Barrel-Aged Cocktail Lineup:
